So, How Will You Pay for College?

Adam Schofield here again to ask you, how do you intend to pay for college? That’s right, you or a person that you know may soon be embarking on an adventure in education, and you will need to know how you will pay for it.

One way to pay for it is through savings. If you start saving soon enough, and with enough regularity then you will be able to have enough money when you get to the college age to be able to afford some of your education.

Already there, or don’t have the time to save? You may be able to apply for various scholarships. There are many around from writing different essays to applying because you meet a certain category. There are also student loans that you can get, but my advice to you would be to stay away from loans if at all possible.

The last way that you can make money is through contests that you can apply to. There are many out there, but I’d like to direct your attention to the $50,000 College Education Sweepstakes put out by Proctor and Gamble. Simply by tuning into one of two daytime dramas and entering in the name of the character that spoke the first line on three different days you will make yourself eligible for the scholarship and some diapers.

Of course, you won’t find me out watching soap operas. I have enough trouble fighting my own bad guys, and right now I’m in my past trying to figure out what’s going on.

Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for reading, and remember, be prepared for college– for it is coming for you or someone you know.
