”Huh?“

”Well, the first time it was. . .“

”Get out alive, and the second, rescue you, and the third was make it through the mall.“

”Right, well the first this time was to defeat the lion. The second was to switch myself with my predecessor, and the third is this!“

”True, but there is a goal!“

”What?“

”Get out alive!  This also is true in all the rest of the things we have done. For example:  I wanted to go home, therefore I went home. I wanted Matt and Noelle to surrender, so they did. I imagined what Noah and Laura’s wedding would be like, and it occurred that way. I imagined buying the house, the impossible case, Noah being chased, the tapped phone, the first gunner.“

”And I the second. I also imagined the beach bully, all those mysterious events, including the already written report.“

”I being asked to direct, the whole nine yards!!“

”But if this all is a game, that means the only real people are you and me. Now all we have to do is find a way to escape!“

”Well, we should be able to reach the walls, although there was a time when you were in the city, and I in the country, so it must segment what we view.“

”But whose idea was the rest of it?“

”Matt and Noelle’s, unless they’re skipping the country.“

”You know, I just remembered something.“

”What is that?“

”Noah was supposed to rescue us a week ago.“

”Right, so there must be clones of us walking around the real world!  You know, I wonder. If I were to think that this room would look like it really does, would it?“

”Try it.“  I did, and the scenery remained the same.

”It’s probably programmed to do that.“  I remarked.

”Then how do we get out?“

”We’ll just have to be more creative. How about an energy overload?“

”How could we do that?“

”Well, if everyone in the city turned on their appliances at once, it would overload the circuit.“

”True, but the people here are fictional, plus the game is only so big.“

”Then how do we get out?“

”I don’t know, but for now, I guess we will just have to live in this fantasy land.“  It was time for lunch. We went to the kitchen, and uncovered the table. We set the table, and ate across from each other. After we had finished we went to my apartment, or what appeared to be it.

”I wonder how far our imagination will go in this world.“  Tricia wondered.

”What do you mean?“

”Well, how far into our subconscious does the game probe, or is it just what we are thinking?“

”There’s one way to find out!“

”How’s that?“
