"Man, I can’t believe it!" exclaimed the voice on the phone.

"What’s the problem this time," Noah asked.  He brother called up from New York city with a problem.

"It’s mold– it’s all over my basement after that big storm came in the other day and I don’t know how I’m going to get rid of it.  I tried using bleach and that special paint, but nothing seems to work.  The stuff is all over!"

"Calm down.  Let me see if I can find anything online that can help."

"I already tried that."

"Oh yeah?  Well, did you try American Waterproofing?"

"American Waterproofing?  Never heard of them."

"Well, I just keyed in Brooklyn New York basement waterproofing and American Waterproofing was one of the results– perhaps you should give them a try."

"Thanks, maybe I will.  But will they also come out to Queens, because I know–"

"Queens, Staten Island, Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx– they cover them all."

"Thanks brother, you’re the best."

’Adam, it’s only twenty minutes away. Now, do you want to go or not?’  I wanted to see how you would react to water.

’Why not?!  Can you pick me up?  Tricia’s car is in the shop, and I said that she could use mine tomorrow.’

’Say what?!’

’Can you pick me up?  Tricia’s car is in the shop, and I said that she could use mine tomorrow.’  I looked  over at Tricia and Laura. Laura had a look of disbelief on her face, and Tricia just sat there, expressionless.

’Bring Tricia too, Adam. I’m inviting both of you.’

’Oh, I thought just you and I were going!’  He said. In a whisper he asked me, ‘Why not leave them here?  We can have a better time without those gabby girls around?’

’We’ll just leave them behind when we get there, how’s that?’

’Well, if we’re going to bring them along, might as well keep them along so we can showoff to them!’

’Yeah, good idea, but what about the other girls that are going to be there?’  I said, with a big grin.

’Well. . .maybe if there are a few hot ones in bikinis!’  I was stunned, truly shocked. When I told Laura this she couldn’t believe it either. The next day we all met outside my house. All four of us got into our cars and left.

Once we arrived at the beach I asked, ‘Hey Schoolfield, wanna play some V-Ball, or hit the water first?’

’Let’s hit the old H₂0!!’  Hit the old H₂O?!  But he can’t swim!!  This is truly peculiar. Look at him, I thought, watching your clone swimming. He swims like an expert!  Now something truly is wrong. I walked over to Laura.

’Laura, there’s something strange going on here. Either Adam had a brain transplant or there’s something seriously wrong.’

’Like what?’

’Like, we may have the completely wrong Adam!’

’And Tricia?’

’Her too. Keep them here, then take them to our house. I am going to Matt and Noelle’s house.’

’Why there?’

’I think that they are still there!’

’What should I tell them if they ask where you have went?’

’Come up with something.’

’Okay. Be careful.’  I went away from the beach and approached Matt and Noelle’s house. Being the sneaky guy that I am, I came up to the edge of the house and over heard Matt and Noelle’s conversation.

’They don’t suspect a thing!’  Noelle said.

’They think that they are out of the game, when they are really still in it.’

’But, I don’t know, that call from Noah may clue Adam in.’

’We’ll just have to be sneaky in Noah’s letter.’

’Good idea, let’s draft it now.’  I had heard enough. I explored the grounds and found the approximate location of the game and studied it’s wiring. Returning home I constructed a gadget that would allow me to interface with their computer. I linked it manually to the game, and introduced me as a new character.”

"Adam, where should I go on my honeymoon?"  Noah asked as Adam read the paper.

Peering over the top Adam responded, "How should I know where you want to go?  It’s not like I’m going along with you!"

"Still, you have to help me choose, there are just so many choices…  For example:  I could go to Courchevel, France or Meribel, France or even St Anton, Austria."

"I’ve never even heard of those places, what’s there?"

"Well, Supertravel– a UK based travel company– says that these are great places because they have Luxury ski chalets.  And they especially recommend the chalets in Meribel."

"Why would you want to go somewhere that cold for your honeymoon?"

"Well, besides the fact that I’ll be spending most of the time indoors anways," he said, as he winked at Adam (who rolled his eyes), "Supertravel highly recommends Luxury Skiing holidays as a way to relax.  It even says that we may never want to come home."

"Now there’s the first thing you’ve said that’s made any sense.  Where do I sign you up?"

"Now, I just have to talk Laura into it– I think she has her heart set on Hawaii."

"Talk about opposites!  Well, whichever keeps you away longer, take that one!"

"Thanks Adam, you’re always a big help," responded Noah, sarcastically.
