“The pond!!” He shouted. “Well, just so we don’t fall into any traps, you and Tracy can go get it. Tracy, you keep your eye on him, I don’t want him pulling anything funny.”
“Yes sir.” We started walking off. “Tracy, can I have your walkie talkie.” She handed it to me. “Data to La Forge, Noah, I need you to come with Andy and pretend to capture Tracy and I. Tracy will let you capture her. Once you get her, take her to the island. I’ll pretend I just escaped.”
“What’s this change in plans for?”
“Dan isn’t coming.”
“Oh. I’ll be there right away. Kirk out.” Noah said. We continued to walk very slowly toward the pond. Noah and Andy pretended to capture Tracy. They ripped my shirt Tracy went with them, and changed clothes out on the pond. I ran back to their HQ.
“Dan! They’ve captured Tracy, I just barely got away.”
“Oh, that’s too bad. I guess I can send Tricia and Laura with you.”
“Yes sir.” I said. We again left. Halfway there Noah and Andy abducted Tricia and I, leaving Laura to report it to Dan. She told him what direction that Noah and I had went in. Noah and I went the opposite way of the jail, while Andy took Tricia in, blindfolding her. If Dan came and rescued me, he would probably come alone. He followed and jumped on Noah, who had me. Noah ran, leaving me behind.
“Where’s Tricia?”
“They took her somewhere else.”
“Well, you and I are going to pay a visit to your, I mean their, flag.” He stated. We walked to the pond, and crossed it. Once on the island, we proceeded to find all of Noah’s traps. Dan disarmed them before they we useful. I stopped and my team jumped out and took Dan by surprise. Tracy came out, and kissed me.
“Well, Adam, looked like our plan worked.” She said, handing me a brown jacket.
“What!?” Dan shouted.
“Tracy was never on your team. By holding on to my hand for five minutes every hour, I was not on your team.”
“Then you lied to me.”
“No, I didn’t. Our flag is on an island, just not this one!”
“Awe. Caught by a technicality.”
“Yes, and in five hours, you’ll be on the winning team. But in case you try to pull a trick on me. I’m going to leave you on this island, and Tracy and I will guard you. The rest of you, go search the surrounding area. See if you can round up any new teammates.”
“Right on, Adam.” Hannah said. They all left. So far we had Tracy, Tricia and Dan from their original team. The only people left on their team were Laura, David, and Karin.
“My team will still succeed.” Dan hollered.
“Right. Three on six.” I replied.
“Three on four. Andy, Noah, Hannah and Jacie. If we’re prepared, the tables could turn on you.”
