island “Did he say anything about an island?”

“Yes, he did!”

“Do you know where it is?”

“No, but I think he has a map.”

“Tiffany, if Aunt Tracy and I were to come over, could you get us a copy of that map?”

“Copy, I can get you the real thing!”

“Okay, meet us at your neighbor’s house in five minutes.” I said ‘bye’ and hung up. “TRACY!” I called. She appeared. “Come on honey, we’ve got a lead!” I said. I ran to the closet, grabbed my trench coat, put it on and went out the door.

I drove us to Tiffany’s neighbor’s house. While driving, Tracy asked, “What was that about an island?”

“Well, Tracy, I didn’t want to open old wounds, but that’s where you we taken when you were kidnapped. There you were programmed to kill me.”

“Kill you?! I could never do that.”

“Well you almost did, but let’s let the past be the past. Right now, we’ve got to get the location of that island from Tiffany.” We arrived at Tiffany’s neighbor’s house, and like clockwork, Tiffany came out. I got the coordinates off the map, and returned it to her. She went back in, and I promised her that she come over some time in the near future.

Returning to the house, I went in and found the coordinates on my map. There was no island located there, but that’s probably why it was chosen. The phone rang and Tricia answered it. She came into the library, where the map was, and said, “That was the doctor on the phone, he says that Jacie’s fever is breaking, and she’s coming out of her coma!”

“We’ve gotta get down there right away!” I said.

We got in the car and arrived at the hospital at four. I was the only one permitted to see her. “Jacie, how are you?” I said, clutching her hand.

“How do I look?”

“Like you’re tired.”

“Then that’s how I am.”

“Jacie, who did this to you?”

“I don’t know. I went to bed, and I heard a noise from inside the closet. Two men came out and grabbed a hold of me. They pulled on the wig, tearing it off. They swore, beat me a couple of times, forcing me to tell where Tracy was. The next thing I knew, I was here.”

“Did you tell them?”

“If I hadn’t, you wouldn’t be talking to me right now!” She said, coughing.

“Get some rest, I’ll send someone in to stay with you. You can stay at my place, once you’re feeling better, and don’t worry, they’re going to pay!” I stated. I left the room, and returned to the waiting area, and talked to Hannah. “Hannah, could you go in and keep Jacie company? Once she’s well enough, take her to my house. I have a score to settle with some people on an island!” I stated. Hannah agreed. Tracy and I went home to change, then to church.
