Looking Your Best

Hi all, Jenn here. 

Why is it that some people will go to great lengths to look their best?  I can understand the power of the media to create within the minds of people that their worth is decided by how they look, but I am constantly surprised by how far one will go to look better than another.

The truth of the matter is that plastic surgery is a valid medical practice—and it does have areas where it’s something that is definitely useful.  I mean, there are people that need different treatments or reconstructions after different medical procedures or accidents.

And yet there are also “jobs” people believe that they need to change their appearance to get.  Do you think that it’s ever right to “enhance” your appearance for a job or any other reason?

Is it ever right to seek out plastic surgery financing—since the price of these types of things can be great, and they are seldom covered by insurance?

For me, I’m happy the way that I am, and I hope you are too.
