The next morning, Tracy and I met for the first time after the incident. Laura had given her some of her clothes to wear, as did Katie for Kristin. Tracy and I raced towards each other and embraced. We then went to Noah and Laura’s room. “I don’t know if it is a good idea to try and get some food at a restaurant.” I stated.

“Why not?” Noah asked.

“Well, if both of us go into a restaurant then we’ll short out any female in a certain area. If one of us goes to one restaurant, the females will be drooling all over us.”

“Good point. I guess we’ll have to send the girls into town so they can pick up some food.” Noah said.

“Yes, and they can let us off on the way, so we can pick up the car.” I added.

“You know, I was just thinking.” Katie said.

“So that’s what I smelled burning!” Kristin said, giggling.

“Not funny. I was just going to say that it doesn’t look like we’ll be going home for a little bit, so if it’s okay, can Kristin and I go exploring tomorrow?” Katie asked.

“Only if an adult goes with you,” Tracy said.

“Awe, Aunt Tracy.” They chimed.

“Uncle Noah, will you go with us.” Kristin asked.

“Sorry kids, Laura and I have a lot of talking to do.”

“How about your Aunt Tracy?” Katie inquired.

“If your Uncle Adam comes along,” Tracy replied.

“Will you Dad?” Kristin asked.

“I guess so.” I said, pretending as though I didn’t want to. “Right now, I’m hungry.”

“Me too, I haven’t eaten since those free doughnuts this morning!” Noah said.

“What free doughnuts? I didn’t get any,” I stated.

“Whoops!” Noah said. We all got in the car and drove to the other car. Tracy and Laura got in one car and took off towards town. Noah, Kristin, Katie and I went to the hotel where we planned our next two days. The girls soon came back, and brought up the food, including a lot of grapefruit. We recharged the batteries in the walkie talkies, and were soon ready for our hike. Going to the spot where we had started out search, we started our hike. Katie and Kristin ran ahead while Tracy and I walked side-by-side, holding hands. The hike passed without incident.

In two days the formula had worn off, and we left for home. “Well kids, how did you like it in South America?”

“It was nice and warm.” Kristin responded.

“Yes, can we go there again sometime?” Katie inquired.

“Sure.” I replied. The girls started talking to each other, and I asked Noah, “What did you and Laura talk about?”

“Well, we both agreed that I won’t ogle any more girls, dispose of all my formula, and be nicer to her.” Noah responded.

“In exchange for what?” I asked.
