“All right, it depends on the girl and how much feeling she has for you. Let’s say, a two year old that never knew you. Well, she would get to the point of maybe giving you a piece of her cookie.”

“And…”

“Well, a teen who never knew you would probably end up kissing.”

“Noah!!! If it’s that bad, how bad is it if it is a friend that is an adult?”

“Well, in Tricia’s case, it might find yourself French kissing, but in no way do you want to give it to Tracy before you’re married.”

“Why didn’t you warn me?!”

“I tried to give you NCA, but you wouldn’t take it.”

“Get over here!!!” I said, hanging up the phone. Noah came over in an hour. I had locked myself in my office, and Noah gave Tricia some NCA 10.2 in a soda. I entered the room, and she acted normal. I looked at Noah, and he handed me a three test-tubes and a box. Attached to the box was a note. I opened the note:

Adam,

The disk in here will tell your computer how to make NLP 1.0, 2.0, and 2.1. It will also create NCA 10.2. In the test-tubes are my last doses of NLP 1.0, 2.0, and 2.1, labeled appropriately.

I thanked him and quickly put these in the car. Coming back in, Tricia said, “Phone call, line one.” I thanked her, and took it in my office.

“But you only have one phone line, don’t you?” Tracy asked Tricia.

“True, but it makes me feel useful.”

Picking up the phone I said, “Hello?”

“Hello Adam?”

“Yes, is this Heather?”

“Yes, I’m afraid we can’t get anything out of Amanda.”

“Okay. I’ll be by tomorrow morning to talk to her.”

“Fine. Until then.” She said, hanging up. I left my office and went into the main.

“I’m afraid I must go in and talk to Amanda.”

“Are you going to …” Tricia asked.

“Use Noah’s formula? Yes. I’m afraid it’s the only way. But he gave me a better version which should give me a little more control.”

“I want to be there.” Tracy stated.

“It might cause friction.”

“I don’t care.”

“Please, dear.”

“I know, let’s go shopping.” Tricia stated. “That’ll keep your mind off it.”

“Great. You could take Laura, Karin, Kristin and Katie, they’d love to go.” I added.

“All right. Kinda like a ladies day out?” Tracy questioned.

“Right,” I returned. We went home that night, and I went to my chemistry set and created more NCA 10.2, just in case. Then I prepared for the next day.

The next morning, the girls got up before I did, and were off to the mall. I got up, ate, and took off for the police office.

I entered the building and went straight to Heather. “Did Amanda have breakfast yet?”
