laura eisenhartLaura Eisenhart here to tell you about this great store that I’ve found for picking up quality consumer electronics and appliances.

As you know, my soon-to-be-husband, Noah, is quite the inventor, and so I never know what to get him because he’s always building something out of spare parts.

Take the other day, for example. While I was busy fixing lunch, he was out in his workshop building a air purifier ionizer. I told him that they sell those things online for much cheaper than he could ever build one, but he wanted to do it anyway. Said something about wanting to make sure the thing worked.

So this Christmas I’m going to get him something from AbtElectronics– which has free shipping available and offers you the ability to shop for all your appliance and electronics needs in one online store.

Take it from me, shopping online makes things easier, and even for the “hard to buy for” person on your list, you can find something you like at AbtElectronics.

“Hey Noah,” Adam said through the phone.  “Want to come over and help me decorate my house?”

“What do you have left to do?”

“Well, I have to get the artificial tree out of storage, set it up, get out the lights, put them around the room, and then–”

“You’re not going to put up those old lights you had in our dorm room at college, are you?!  They’re like over 10 years old!”

“Sure, why not?  They’re my favorite!  Sentimental reasons–”

“You have to get with the times!  Like me, I just ordered my LED holiday lights from HolidayLEDs.com.  They came quickly and they’re so much more efficient than your old bulbs.”

“That can’t be that much better.”

“Adam… They’re 90% more efficient than your old strand, and they last 50,000 hours.  That’s twice what your strand is rated for.”

“I have noticed that some of the bulbs are burnt out– but my strand’s parallel and…”

“And you need LED lights.  HolidayLEDs have strands that are one piece construction– better than you can get at Lowes or Home Depot.  And that means that they’ll last longer out in the elements.  Plus, you don’t have to worry about the bulbs breaking.”

“Why’s that?”

“Well, just the other day I ran a pickup truck I was using right over them, and nothing happened– I was impressed.”

“Sounds like I need to go and pick up some of those bulbs.”

“Now that would be a smart thing to do.”

"Man, I can’t believe it’s happened again," Tricia said under her breath.

"What happened again?"  Adam asked, walking out of his office to join his secretary.  It wasn’t usual for her to get so flustered, and he knew that the computer really wasn’t her friend.

"I was just looking through some files when this blue screen appeared," she gestured toward the computer, "and when it rebooted it says that some place on my harddrive has been corrupted."  Looking frustrated she continued, "I was just working on our balance sheet, and it’ll take me all afternoon to build it back again."

"Man, that stinks," Adam replied.  "Maybe Noah has something at his house that can fix your harddrive."  He picked up the phone to talk with Noah.

"Haven’t you ever heard of an online backup?" was the first thing to escape Noah’s lips.  "You know, something like IDrive-E that offers up to 2GB of storage for free and unlimited storage for less than $5.00 a month!"

"Wow, it’s really that cheap?"

"Sure it is."

"Isn’t it dangerous sending files over the Internet?  I mean, we have some of our business stuff on our computer."

"Nah, it’s fine.  They use an encrypted data stream and they do nearly real time backup of your disk.  You can even manage multiple account from a single admin account."

"But what if I just want to find a single file?"

"Then use their search option and find the specific file in your browser."

"That sounds pretty slick.  I’ll have to try that out.  It’s too bad Tricia wasn’t running IDrive-E before the crash."  With that, Adam went back to help Tricia, and they were the wiser knowing that there was a inexpensive way to backup their data.
